VIM Desktop Crash

If VIM Desktop crashes, try the following:

  • Make sure your graphic card drivers are up to date.
  • If you use a laptop, make sure to set your graphic settings to Prefer Maximum Performance.

Assert Error​

If you previously installed the Microsoft OpenCL, OpenGL, and Vulkan Compatibility Pack, you might see the error below in VIM for Windows. To resolve this issue, uninstall the OpenCL, OpenGL, and Vulkan Compatibility Pack and restart VIM for Windows.
