VIM Desktop Crashes

Troubleshooting Steps​

If the VIM Desktop application crashes on startup, try the following:

  • Make sure your device meets the Minimum Hardware Requirements.

  • Make sure your graphics device drivers are up to date.

  • Make sure to set your graphic settings to Prefer Maximum Performance.

  • Set your device's power settings to Best Performance to avoid slow framerates.

  • Uninstall Microsoft OpenCL, OpenGL, and Vulkan Compatibility Pack (if present) by going to your start menu > "Add or Remove Programs".
