This page covers troubleshooting steps for VIM Enterprise.

ACC Revit File Picker

Please follow the troubleshooting steps below based on the error message displayed in the ACC Revit file picker dialog

Error: "Revit file version was not found. Model derivative information is missing."

Cause: The selected Revit file has missing model derivative information, preventing VIM Enterprise from detecting the Revit version.

Troubleshooting Steps:

  1. Ensure your file's Revit version is supported in ACC. Autodesk supports the last 4 versions of Revit.

  2. Ensure your Revit file contains at least one published 3D view.

  3. Ensure your Revit file and its links have all been published to ACC as Revit cloud sharing models from Revit. You may need to wait a few minutes after publishing while ACC processes the file.

Error: "We couldn't find a matching VIM Converter"

Cause: The selected Revit file's version does not match any of the uploaded VIM Converter App Bundles. In versions of VIM Enterprise prior to v1.3.9, this message was also displayed when the Revit file version was not found (see above).

Troubleshooting Steps:

  1. Ensure your file's Revit version is supported in ACC. Autodesk supports the last 4 versions of Revit.

  2. Go to the ACC Setup tab in VIM Enterprise and configure a VIM Converter App Bundle for that Revit version, then try again.
