Explore

The "Explore" workflow is free in VIM Flex. Use it to open and inspect your VIM files.

• All you need is a .vim file.

• No SQL or Power BI required.

• Replaces the previous VIM Desktop application.

• Flexibly group your elements to get the counts you need.

• Section and isolate your model with intuitive controls.

• Run VIM Ultra to stream your projects in Power BI.

Mesh Audit

Use the "Mesh Audit" workflow to find the complex elements that are slowing things down in Revit, Navisworks, or IFC.

Diff

• Updated VIM Power BI report templates:

  • The VIM Parquet Power BI report data model has been significantly re-worked to improve performance with large models. Please contact us if you need help porting your previous custom reports.

  • The VIM SQL Power BI report templates have been deprecated, however you can still use this release with your existing VIM SQL Power BI reports.

  • Updated VIM custom visual with bug fixes and quality-of-life improvements (v0.103.2.0)

• Fixed a timeout resulting in "FailedDownload" errors in ACC projects.

  
  

ACC Update

Please update your ACC app bundles to extract the latest data from your ACC projects with this release.

VIM Revit Exporter

The transform of linked documents is now stored in the FamilyInstance table's Basis and Translation columns.

VIM Navisworks Exporter

Added a checkbox to control whether the exported model is re-centered to the origin.
